Yogini

Yogini (Sanskrit: योगिनी, yoginī, IPA: [ˈjoɡiniː]) is the feminine form of the masculine yogin-.

In classical Sanskrit literature, Yogini is the name of a class of female demons or sorceresses in the train of Durga, sometimes enumerated as 60, 64 or 65 (Harivaṃśa, Kathāsaritsāgara).[1] In modern usage, Yoginis are female practitioners of Yoga.
