Ashley Turner

Ashley Turner brings a fresh approach to yoga as a modern day psychotherapy intern with a soulful bent on celebrating the body’s wisdom and inner spirit.

She offers individual, couples + group therapy/coaching worldwide via Skype, phone or private practice in Santa Monica, CA or Aspen, CO. Deep, witty and laser-focused on connecting with you right where you need it most, Ashley combines the best tools of East and West, to guide you towards Truth and a more healthy, wealthy, joyful way of life.

PSYCHOTHERAPY :: Best for identifying and working through unresolved emotions, anxiety, addiction, family of origin issues, trauma, grief, relationship patterns and errors in logic that are blocking you.

COACHING :: Directive, dynamic and goal-oriented. Based on accountability and taking the action-steps necessary to achieve your desired results. Coaching may involve some therapeutic work, if there is a need.

She is the Artist-in-Residence at Montage Laguna Beach, leading monthly workshops and an adjunct faculty member at Kripalu and Loyola Marymount University’s Yoga Philosophy program.

Her first book, Aroma Yoga®: A Guide to Using Essential Oils in Yoga and Life, co-written with Tracy Griffiths, details the use of essential oils in holistic health. She is a frequent contributor to top tier media publications including Self, Shape, Women’s Health, Yoga Journal and Natural Health.

Ashley draws on the source texts of yoga while incorporating the best of Neurobiology, Jungian Psychology, Ayurveda, Tantra, Shamanism and Priestess work – vigorously challenging students from the inside out. She is known for her ability to translate complex themes into practical, real-life tools accessible to all.
